PAK was set up to
support capacity building,
economic growth and reform in
the non-oil producing sector in
Nigeria. As a £20 million DFID
programme for five years
(2005-2010),
PAK has provided support in
research, analysis, dialogue and
advocacy on evidence-based
policy. |
|
GRID worked with
HTSPE (UK), GHK International
Ltd (UK), Statistical Services
Centre, Reading University (UK),
Development Resources Initiative
(Kaduna, Nigeria) and Agenda
Consulting Nigeria Ltd (Lagos,
Nigeria) in implementing this
programme. |
|
GRID served largely as a funding
intermediary throughout the course
of the programme, ensuring the
required funding was delivered to
beneficiaries in a transparent and
accountable manner. |
|
After five years, this governance programme is
now being replaced by the new DFID- funded
programme: Policy Development
Facility (PDF). |
