GRID works with international development partners to design and implement a wide range of donor-funded initiatives. We also develop and strengthen financial management systems in public and private institutions at all levels.  Our development-partners have been:

 
UK Department For International Development (DFID)
 

Over the past 14 years, we have established a strong record of diverse and dispersed assignments with DFID.  We continue to provide financial management, capacity building and logistical support to many DFID projects in Nigeria. We also continue to operate as a core member in a number of consortia which manage DFID-funded Programmes in Nigeria. GRID has carried out  several assignments for DFID including:

 

      Providing assistance in the 2005  review of the DFID Nigeria staffing needs for programme teams over its plan period of 2005-2008 and providing extensive direct assistance to DFID in recruiting local staff.

       Identifying models to a person to post staffing capacity to enhance to delivery the Country Assistance Programme (CAP)

       Finalising the staffing structure for three new regional offices in Nigeria

       Setting up the accounting systems for DFID’s new Nigerian Office

       Providing Grant Management financial intermediary services to DFID

 
 
 
The European Commission
 

GRID served as the prime Nigerian partner in an international consortium retained by the EC to implement the PRIME programme (Partnership to Reinforce Immunisation Efficiency), a 50 million Euro (Health) Aid programme in Nigeria.

 

We served for 10 years as local representative for the Centre for the Development of Enterprises (CDE), which operates in Brussels, under the Lome V convention. This work involved the identification of ailing enterprises, carrying out of due diligence work, reform planning and collaboration with EU consultants in the implementation of the support programme, as approved and financed by the CDE.

 
 
The World Bank
 
GRID has partnered with the World Bank to :
 

    Review lending policies and procedures enforced at the Nigerian Bank for Commerce and Industry.

 

    Review the characteristics and profiles of projects financed by the Nigerian Bank for Commerce and Industry.

 
 
The Danish International Development Assistance (DANIDA)
 

GRID has worked with DANIDA in the Upper West Region region of Ghana to:

 
    Review the financial management systems at the district and hospital levels
 
    Develop a financial management reform programme for the hospital sector
 
    Computerise the accounting systems of hospitals in the region
 
GRID also served as financial management adviser in the course of the implementation of the above
 
 
United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
 

GRID partnered with USAID to review the financial management systems at the two major tertiary level government hospitals in Malawi.  In the process of developing a financial management reform programme for the above hospitals, GRID co-ordinated the computerisation of their accounting systems.

 
 
The Norwegian Government
 

GRID is a core member of the consortium providing support and management to the MNCH programme, which is a £24 million (maternal, child & healthcare) Aid programme in Northern Nigeria – funded by the State Department of the Government of Norway.
